Shane Bolles Walsh PhD (2019), MA (2012), BA (2006) is a Lecturer in the Department of African American Studies at the University of Maryland, College Park. In addition, Walsh earned a certificate in Museum Studies (UMD) in 2012. His training is in both the social sciences as well as the humanities, making him and interdisciplinary scholar/teacher.
