Natalie Trapuzzano
Natalie Trapuzzano (she/her) is the University Archivist at the University of Maryland. She graduated from the University of British Columbia (UBC) in 2021, where she earned master's degrees in Archival Science and Library & Information Science and participated in the First Nations Curriculum Concentration. During her time as a graduate student, she worked as the Library, Archives, and Reference Assistant at UBC's Rare Books & Special Collections; was part of the Indigenous Children's Books Critical Literacy Working Group at UBC's X̱wi7x̱wa Library; led community archiving efforts for Joint Effort, a Vancouver-based grassroots organization fighting for prison justice; and served as co-coordinator of the ACA@UBC, the school's student chapter of the Association of Canadian Archivists.
As a collaborator on The 1856 Project, she works closely with the Program Administrative Specialist, manages website content and creation, and serves on the Research Committee.
