Riversdale Project Researcher, Reparative Histories and Social Justice Incubator

James Cho has a Bachelor's in American Studies (and minors in History; Digital Storytelling), during which he interned with the Journal of Slavery and Data Preservation (JSDP), was an inaugural intern for the 1856 Project, and completed an assistantship with the MITH lab at Hornbake Library. He is a future Master's student in Library and Information Science at UMD starting in the Fall of 2026, with an interest in how libraries and archives can be made more accessible for Indigenous and African American communities while respecting cultural boundaries.
